HERE is an in-person, professional B2B matchmaking service for the Portland, Oregon market.

It’s not a staffing or recruiting service. It’s exclusively for self-employed freelancers and independent consultants seeking Portland-based clients. Our directory and service is proprietary and “offline.” Referrals are human-to-human.

We meet Portland businesses in person, every week. We learn who has services to offer, and who’s looking for service. When opportunities arise, we introduce HERE members to prospective clients, taking the headache out of the search for both parties.

If you’re working for yourself in the Portland metro, offering one or more B2B services, you’re practically a member already. The only other requirement is an in-person meeting with HERE.

There’s no substitute for IRL when getting to know someone new — all the more when professional referrals are involved. It’s also more enjoyable than virtual meetings, and since we’re all in the Portland region, it’s practical and easy enough.

Unlike HERE consultants and freelancers who have to balance business development with running their businesses, we spend every hour networking and connecting with Portland professionals and business owners. Client leads come from the large HERE network, from referrals, and from relationships forged through 25 years of working in the region.

When a HERE introduction results in a contract, the service provider pays HERE a modest commission.
